Peanut Butter Porridge
A new take on an old favourite with a super tasty boost of protein

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup milk I use the Complete Dairy high protein low fat milk
- 1/2 small banana chopped
- 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
- 1 tsp honey optional
Instructions
- Bring milk to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in oats and a pinch of salt. Bring to the boil the reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon, for 5 minutes or until porridge thickens.
- Stir through the peanut butter. Transfer to a bowl and top with the banana and honey if using.
Notes
- If you are cooking for others, double the serve size for a non-bariatric serve.
- If you want a faster option, use a plain quick oat sachet, cook as per instructions, then stir through the peanut butter.
- To make this suitable for the puree phase, blend after cooking.Â
