Sometimes life can get a bit boring. Add some more zest to your meals with these quick and easy, super tasty and VSG-friendly dressings. Drizzle on a salad, over roast vegies, blob over a piece of chicken – pretty much anything! And… I promise you they will take no more than 5 minutes to make up!
Whisk together 1 cup Greek yoghurt, 1 clove garlic (minced), 4 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tb olive oil and season to taste. You can also add a little dill for some extra flavour, too. This one is high in protein due to the yoghurt and oh-so-versatile!
Whisk together 1 cup Greek yoghurt, 3 tbsp tahini, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 2 cloves garlic (minced), 1/2 tsp cumin and season to taste. Through a few pomegranate and pine nuts on top for some colour and blob onto your favourite piece of meat, kebab or roast veg. You’ll get ~4g protein per tbsp, too.
Blend 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1 cup basil, 1 cup parsley, 1 tbsp grated parmesan, 1/2 avocado, 1/3-1/2 cup olive oil in a food processor and blend until the leaves are finely chopped. Add in 1/3 cup light sour cream (or Greek yoghurt), a scoop of clear protein powder (optional) salt & pepper and blend again until smooth. Drizzle over your favourite salad to make it a little more exciting!
